WHAT TO EXPECT

During the Planning Phase
The planning phase is all about giving you options and seeing what your schedule, budget and sense of adventure can allow!
You will work very closely (primarily over email) with your guide. Remember that your guide most likely speaks multiple languages. His spoken English will be much better than his written English in most cases!
The planning phase is the best place to ask questions, gain understanding, and explore all your options. When your planning phase is over, your Guide will provide an itinerary to confirm your reservations.

Upon Arrival in Country
You will either arrange to have your guide meet you at the airport, or you will be responsible for all your pre-safari arrangements. Upon arrival in country, it is strongly suggested that you acquire a local cell phone or have text message access through your international phone as this is necessary for contact with your guide.
Your guide will pick you up in the surrounding Nairobi area as part of your Safari, but may require you travel to a neighboring city depending upon your Park Selection.

During the Safari
During the safari, you will either journey with others or on a private adventure. This will be determined by the type of safari that you plan with your guide.
You will be able to stand up and view the wildlife as well as take numerous pictures. Safety is a primary goal for our guides and they will never put you in harm's way.
It is not guaranteed that you will see the Big 5, but your guide will do his best to help navigate the park and locate the animals. Sometimes rhinos and other rare beasts go for months without being seen. Will you be lucky enough to see the Big 5?
